Most of the family already knows, but Sean re-broke his arm Friday. Sean had his cast removed on December 15th, but on December 26th he re-broke one of the two bones in his forearm.
This morning I took him to the hospital to have it reset and casted. This time the cast is up to his bicep, and his doctor plans to leave him in the cast longer.
For those who don't know how he did it...
He was at his pre-school so mommy and daddy could get work and errands done. Sean was at school for 1-1/2 hours before Michael called me to come home. Sean was on the playground at school and he was running to the water fountain. He apparently tripped and fell on the concrete and broke his arm trying to catch himself.
This time he DID cry, and he broke the bone completely.
He'll be in this cast for about three weeks, then they'll put a shorter one on him. When we were at the doctor's office yesterday, his daddy made the comment, "No more running on concrete." Of course how are you going to keep a little boy from running at all.
