Another year, another crawfish boil. We've been going every year to the Nance's in March for the Annual Crawfish Boil. And every year Sean and Nicholas want to clean the pots. This year Jaxon was there to help. Just look how much the boys have grown.

Monday Night WWE

Michael thought it would be entertaining to take Sean to the WWE at the AAC on Monday. Dylan and Amanda met us there and we attempted to sit all together, but it was a little short lived.

ANYONE who thinks that this kind of wrestling is real is blind or on something. It looks MORE fake in person.

I did tell Michael it was 4 hours of my life I will NEVER get back. The only silver lining in the event was Sean telling Michael what he would do if he was in the ring, and booing the "bad guys".

Tae Kwon Do

Sean has been in Tae Kwon Do for almost 3 months now. He's preparing to take his first belt test in several weeks. He really loves Master Nixon and his class. Here is Sean with the bigger white belts and white belt/black stripes doing jumping exercises. He made it over one bag and two bags...

Oooh My Poor Leg...

Today Michael and I took our traditional day off for Sean's birthday to spend the day with him. We had a full day. 8:15am 5 year check up and plans to see the King Tut exhibit.

Sean had hurt his leg this past Friday. We took him to the nurse practitioner, and she thought Sean had a pulled groin muscle. Today at Sean's 5 year check up, we mentioned it to his pediatrician, because Sean woke up in the middle of the night screaming in pain. It didn't bother him at his party (and for those there, you saw him running, bouncing, and skating). Sunday Nick came over and played, not a peep out of Sean about his leg. Needless to say Sean "earned" a finger stick for his blood count and an x-ray. I had to carry Sean around everywhere (not that that's much different from any other day, but I couldn't MAKE him because of his leg), he was really pitiful trying to limp around. When I put him in the car I whispered a little something for him to tell his dad.

When we got home, Michael was getting ready to go to the museum with us. Sean put on a pouty face and said in the most fake pitiful voice, "Ooooh my poor leg, please buy me something." (Daddy... guess who taught him that?) Then Sean and I just cracked up laughing.

The funniest part was when we were in the gift shop at the King Tut exhibit, Sean pulled out his newly learned tactic and used it on his dad in front of everyone. He earns brownie points for appropriate usage.

I am HAPPY to report all the test results came back normal and he will go in for a follow up if it persists through the week.

Oh... if you plan to see the King Tut exhibit before it's gone, THEY DON'T HAVE THE ACTUAL SARCOPHAGUS THERE. Only artifacts are in this exhibit, the sarcophagus is in a museum in Cairo.

Thank you to everyone that made it to Sean's party yesterday at Texas Skatium. If you took digital pictures at the party please send us copies. I'd like to use them for Sean's birthday scrapbook. As soon as I've downloaded and received pictures from everyone I'll post them on the blog.

For those he didn't make it... we REALLY lucked out. We had a private party room and the bounce area all to ourselves. Sean was a pretty special boy.

Some of the grown ups ventured out and played in the bounce houses. It was more of a work out for us, but ALOT of fun.
