Shake What Your Mama Gave You

Sean and I were getting ready to go to bed for the night. As he was getting off the couch I told Sean, "Shake what your mama gave you." He just looked at me, so I repeated myself.

"I don't want to." Sean said.

"Do you know what your mama gave you?" I asked

Sean: "God gave it to me."

Me: "God gave you what?"

Sean: "My booty."

I couldn't argue with that.

What a ham!

Hooray... The Cast Is Finally Off!!!

Sean had his cast removed Thursday. After nearly 4 months of being in a cast he's finally free. His arm was quite nasty and Sean was rather obsessive about peeling the skin off:



One thing we noticed today when we were out to dinner is Sean now colors with his right hand. We thought having his left hand in the cast would make him ambidextrous, but it may have made him right handed. It's still too soon to tell. He colors, draws, and writes better with his right now. Sorry Grandpa, Nana, and Amanda... you may have one less in your ranks.

Soccer Season and Other Extracurricular Activities...

Sean is playing soccer again this spring. Michael is Head Coach and I'm Team Manager again. We were able to keep the same team together from last season. The first game was this past Saturday. It was FREEZING!!!

One of the moms was nice enough to bring hot tea for everyone. We played a new team to the league and even though at this age they don't keep score... the parents do. We slaughtered them. Dylan was with us and he lost track after 20 goals, the other team never made one.

This will likely be the last season we do soccer. Sean likes to play, but isn't very passionate about it. He just started Tae Kwon Do for the year and LOVES that. He also started piano lessons about 3 weeks ago.
